Born in Los Angeles, CA, Shay’s makeup obsession started with blue mascara at the age of 12. Shortly after, Shay became the go-to makeup artist for all her friends. By 16, Shay was fully booked during every prom season and Halloween. This jump started Shay’s makeup artistry career, and she decided to pursue it further by studying at Joe Blasco’s Makeup Academy. There, Shay learned everything about makeup from Classic Beauty looks, to Special FX.

As a Freelance Artist for the past nine years, Shay has worked on countless weddings, commercial, editorial, and print photoshoots and has worked for makeup lines such as Lancome, MAC, and Dior Cosmetics.
